Mark Slavens, Ph.D.

Mark started off his career managing golf courses throughout the Intermountain West. He fostered that passion for over 10 years before taking his background and skills to Scotts Miracle-Gro to focus on developing lawn and garden products for the world's largest marketer of lawn care products.

Phil Dwyer, Ph.D.

Phil's passion for turfgrass started in high school while mowing lawns and working at a golf course. After pursuing an academic career in turfgrass, he gained hands-on experience at several top 100 courses before transitioning to varios roles in the industry, where he led turfgrass product development and innovation as a researcher.
